The Chi Phi Fraternity announces the hiring of Michael Orta to fill the position of Field Executive. The Field Executive is primarily responsible for providing support and services to undergraduate chapters including expansion, chapter visits, educational programming, and other areas related to undergraduate services.
Orta, a member of the Phi Lambda Theta Chapter of Chi Phi Fraternity, begins his tenure with Chi Phi Fraternity on October 12, 2006. He graduated from Bucknell University in May with a Bachelor’s Degree in Intellectual History.
Orta served his Chapter in several executive and committee positions during his time at Bucknell. His background in regional Chapter relations will provide Chi Phi Fraternity with a new view of Chpater needs.
The Chi Phi Fraternity was founded in 1824 at Princeton University. Known as the nation's oldest social Fraternity, Chi Phi operates Chapters and Colonies at 65 colleges, universities and institutions of higher learning in 25 States and Commonwealths.
